According to Genisis in the Bible: Adam and Eve lived in the garden of Eden which is todays Middle East along the East side of the Mediteranean. At that time, the world was in the later half of the Ice Age. The Glaciers covered the northern end of the planet while very little vegetation and land was to the south. Civilizations settled in the south while the north had very little people. The earth was in a warming period at this time. The Persian Gulf was a river inside the Garden of Eden at this time frame, beyond it, 4 rivers branches out: the Pishon which flowed through the whole land of Havilah where there is gold, the name of the second river is Gihon, this flows through the land of Cush, the third river is the Tigris, this flowed through the land of Asshur (which is todays Iraq), and the fourth river is the Euphrates (which is todays Iraq).
Already we know that 3 civilizations were already here on Earth during the time of Adam and Eve. Havilah, Cush, and Asshur, will will later be studied. All these rivers flows into the Persian Gulf which makes the Persian Gulf the main river for the Garden of Eden, and that river flowed into the Arabian Sea.
How did the Garden of Eden got destroyed? Looking at the mouth of the Persian Gulf that goes into the Arabian Sea and looking at the topographic area of the oceans, there was a body of land inside that area which looks like it was land there above water at one time. A large piece of Glacier Ice could have melted and went into the ocean bringing up the water levels up along with a torrential storm that flooded the great river into a gulf and brought most of the Garden of Eden under water. Adam and Eve had to flee for safety and it looked like they were on the east side of the garden, so they went east into which is today's Iran, Pakistan and India in order to survive from the disaster. At that time, man had to travel by foot, so they could not move as fast to get out of the destruction area.
What was the passage they took? Looking at the geographic area, they must of traveled up into the mountains, which are located in Pakistan and India. They must of rested there into the caves until the disaster was over and then settled on the southern side of the mountain region into India because they had to grow their own food and thrive their civilization. Land had to be able to grow food, the land in the high mountains are not possible to do that, but getting to where trees and shrubs are located, it is possible to grow vegetation. Plus, they would have to be near river flows and irrigations. This would be on the west side of India.
Now we know that the Middle East was once a great jungle area that covered the area of the Middle East brought on from the Ice Age to the north. The climate was acceptable in that region to grow large vegetation for that region. The valley which is under the Persian Gulf was where Adam and Eve had possibly settled until the river flooded the valley forcing them to leave. It was not because of the forbidden fruit. They probably used it as a scape goat because of the tragedy that followed due to the rising of the water and the torrential storm that devastated the Garden of Eden.
Basic facts:
According to scripture, Adam and Eve knew about the river and the 4 rivers that branch out, otherwise it would not be in the scripture.
Looking at the geographic area, the Persian Gulf was once a valley with a river where the 4 rivers branched out at one time.
The locations of the Glaciers and where the region is located is right for the large garden or jungle to be in that location also, the Persian Gulf water level would be low enough to have a valley in that area.
When a sheet of Glacier fell into the ocean, it brought a climate of torrential storms into the area and it raised the water level making the region flooded and into a body of water which formed into today's Persian Gulf. This shows the beginning of the glacier melting cycle from the Great Ice Age.
How much Glacier could have fallen into the ocean to create this event? The Glacier would have to be a large chunk of ice and it could have been caused by 3 things, a large meteorite, a massive earthquake, or super volcanic eruption, under the ice or a combination of events. This occurance had to be near the affected area and near a large body of water. The event would have to be in the Indian Ocean due to the large body of water would have to flow from the east going west to pour the water into the Garden of Eden.
